Leah McGlade began her wine industry career as a restaurant wine buyer and sommelier, where she developed a passion for Oregon wines and mastered relationship-driven sales. She moved to Oregon in 2008 and co-managed Direct to Consumer sales departments for Domaine Serene and Elizabeth Chambers Cellar, significantly expanding their DTC programs. Known for her positive attitude and problem-solving approach, her ability to connect with customers has been the key to success in the industry. Outside the office, she dedicates her time to her daughter Olivia, serves as a Soroptimist, and volunteers as a board member for the McMinnville Swim Club. Her favorite wine varietal is Pinot Noir, with Sancerre being a close second.

Tom Bassford’s journey into the wine industry began after a career as a PGA Golf Professional, sparked by a visit to Napa Valley in 2002. Moving to Oregon in 2007, he transitioned into the luxury wine sector, managing tasting rooms and wine clubs for Domaine Serene and Elizabeth Chambers Cellar. His analytical and detail-oriented approach has consistently driven sales and membership growth. Tom’s passion for precision ensures no aspect of a strategy is overlooked, making him a key asset in optimizing DTC programs. When not focusing on Cépage, Tom enjoys playing golf, grilling, hiking, and spending time with his dog, Auggie. His favorite wine varietal is Pinot Noir, though he also has a soft spot for Oregon Chardonnay.
